VE 80 Celebrations
At Emmanuel Church, on 7th May, the South Aisle was turned into a Street party.
Plenty of sandwiches, cake and tea was consumed, but more importantly members of the wider community were able to come together and hav a good chat.
Myanmar Earthquake
Emmanuel Church is supporting through personal contacts the charity
Advance Myanmar
This charity works directly with the disposed and persecuted minority people.
These people have been directly affected by the earthquake but are not receiving help through the Junta ruling group.
By supporting this charity money will go directly to helping them.
